At this moment;
I HATE confinement. The sheer thought of structure makes me feel so inept and trivial. Yet, as John Green describes it, we’re all stuck in the labyrinth. We simply use the future to escape the present. As humans, we are daily sucked into the routine and the flow, and we go along. The rules, the structure….society as a whole. But, at some point, we need to realize that the longer you wait to get out, the harder it’s going to be. Life happens, but you have a lot of control over your happiness ultimately no matter how cliche that sounds. I long to be someone who gets out of the labyrinth of suffering to simply live a life that produces happiness. I owe it to myself in the least.
